Vacuum Furnace Hot Zones

At Mercer Technologies, we take pride in our remanufactured hot zones. Our Hot Zone Department has the experience and skill to rebuild or repair your hot zone to OEM or better quality. We can service or rebuild almost any kind of hot zone, including graphite or molybdenum elements, all-metallic zones. We offer a variety of lining options as well.

One popular configuration is to have the bottom third of the zone lined with carbon-faced composite, which offers significantly greater longevity and durability while utilizing softer graphoil around the top two thirds to keep the costs down. If you have a very specific need, give us a call – it is likely that we can deliver it.

Another advantage to our hot zone rebuilds is our patent-pending element support system. This system decreases build time, allows the elements plenty of room for thermal expansion, and greatly reduces maintenance costs.

The modular nature of this design allows only the failed support to be quickly and easily relpaced. This allows you to get your furnace back up and running quickly, and less expensively than other systems allow.
